USE CASES
ISR – Restoration of connectivity
The deployment of a tethered balloon can be used to support fixed antennas damaged by a cyclone or landslide. Connectivity is restored for all users within range of the tethered balloon. The tethered balloon can also be positioned at a higher altitude than the damaged infrastructure antennae, so that it alone can replace several fixed antennae while the infrastructure and wired or fibre networks are being repaired.
